Plugin privacy policy
How the Mr. Paid Social desktop plugins handle local files, provider requests and support data.
Last updated November 2, 2026.
Kruse Media LLC provides the Mr. Paid Social desktop plugins. This policy covers Static Ad Studio, Video Editor, AI Creative Studio, Campaign Builder, Creative Research, Performance Analyst and Publisher. The website privacy policy covers this site's hosting and newsletter separately.
Data stored on your computer
The plugins save the information you provide for the work: brand details, product claims, prompts, project notes, ad references, performance data and selected media. They also save job IDs, provider responses, approval records and output files. Imported media is copied into the local store; exports may contain those copies.
The default location is ~/.local/share/mrpaidsocial/plugins. A custom MPS_DATA_DIR changes it. The seven plugins use the same store when configured with the same location. Data remains there until you remove it. The application does not encrypt its SQLite database or media files. Protect your computer and backups with appropriate access controls and disk encryption.
Data sent to other services
Your chat host processes the conversation and tool inputs and results under its own privacy policy. A local tool result may contain project information, output paths or provider receipts that become part of the chat.
When you authorize KIE image generation, Static Ad Studio sends the prompt, reference image URLs, selected model and image settings to KIE at api.kie.ai. It polls the saved task ID and downloads the resulting media. KIE processes the request under its own terms and privacy policy. A public reference URL may be accessible to anyone who has it.
Media downloads go to the public HTTPS hosts returned by KIE, including validated public HTTPS redirects. Those hosts may differ from api.kie.ai and receive normal connection information, such as your IP address. The plugin does not send your KIE API key to those download hosts.
When you authorize Meta ad creation, Campaign Builder sends the approved ad names, existing creative and ad set IDs, account ID and PAUSED status to graph.facebook.com. It reads back the resulting ads. Meta processes this information under its own policies.
AI Creative Studio saves production handoffs and receipts locally. Its bundled tools do not send the handoff to a video generation service. Creative Research, Performance Analyst and Publisher also perform their bundled operations locally. If you use another service to generate, upload or publish the output, that service receives the data you send it.
The explicit runtime setup command contacts the Python package index to download dependencies. That network request can expose normal connection information, such as your IP address, to the package host. The plugin runtime has no built-in analytics or telemetry sender.
Credentials
KIE and Meta credentials are read from the plugin process environment. They are used to authenticate the requests you authorize. Do not include them in prompts, shared project records or support messages. You can revoke them with the provider and remove them from your local configuration.
Our access and support
We do not receive a central copy of your local project store through the desktop runtime. If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that information to answer the request and resolve the issue. Support email is handled through our email provider, Google Workspace. Send only what is needed for troubleshooting.
We retain support correspondence while it is needed to handle the request and maintain the support record, or to meet a legal obligation. We do not sell plugin project data or use it to build advertising audiences.
Deletion and other requests
You control the local store. Follow the removal instructions to delete it and remove any exports or backups you no longer need. Uninstalling the plugin alone leaves that store in place. We cannot remotely erase files on your computer.
KIE, Meta and your chat host control the copies sent to them. Removing the local store does not remove those copies. Contact those services or use their account controls for access and deletion requests.
For support data held by us, or questions about access, correction or deletion, email caleb@mrpaidsocial.com. Tell us which request or plugin is involved. Do not send an API key or password.
Changes
We will update the date on this page when the plugin data handling changes. Review the policy and permissions when installing an update.
